My Experience with Pretty Brown Eyes
Prior to my eyelash extension service, the artist did a Lash Bath for me, it is one of their new service. Foaming eye and lash wash is the most Important part of the after-care process. Pretty Brown Eyes Lash Bath helps to remove dirt, oils and pollutants that limit the wear of lash extensions due to the natural build up on the lashes.
After the Lash Bath session, the artist proceed to do my extensions. Before starting, she recommended the type of extensions that is suitable for my round eye shape.
Here's the details of my lash extensions:-
Type: Black Diamond Silk (Dramatic, Gradual)
Thickness: 0.18mm
Type: C
Length: 8,9,10,11,12mm
No of Strands: Approx 300 strands
Duration: About 1hr 30 mins (est)
After my session was done, she provide me an after care guide to preserve the look of my eyelash extension:-
- Avoid getting your lashes wet for the next 24hrs. This will allow the adhesive to dry thoroughly
- Avoid hot steam from Sauna, Steam room or shower for 1 week
- Do not excessively rub, pull or pick lashes
- Do not use lash curler
- Avoid oil based cleansers, make up or make up removers. These products will dissolve the adhesive and cause your lashes to fall out
- Do not use waterproof mascara. The ingredients in these mascara will dissolve adhesive
- If really needed, you may use water based mascara and gently apply the tip of your eyelashes. Application at base of lash may break the lash bond or cause a clump
- Avoid using mechanical lash curler as it can break the lash bond
- Comb your lash gently whenever it is needed
- You should not attempt to remove your eyelash extension on your own or with any products, but that the procedure requires your lash extensions be professionally removed
Wow, was I ignorant in the past? I didn't know there is SO many things to take note of! Thanks Pretty Brown Eyes for being so informative! I love my fluffy lashes now! I can stop drawing eyeliner during weekday morning rush. But on weekend, I know my makeup will be on point with those beautiful lashes!
Even though it was home-based, I really like the environment set-up. Room was cosy, air-conditioned, aroma-scented with soothing music playing in the background. It's almost like a real salon!
