hOME RENOVATION - VEGAS INTERIOR DESIGN PTE LTD

I really enjoyed the process of sourcing, purchasing and decorating my own home to the way I wanted it even though it was an exhausting one.  I was pregnant with Chanel during that period, so you can imagine.  But nevertheless it was fulfilling because I'm doing it for my first home!

We initially had a black and white theme in mind before looking for an interior designer but along the way, it's kind of hard to stick to it when you are thrown with a lot of variety.  However, I still manage to incorporate my favorite black color into my interior and unexpectedly added extra colors.

Our Ego Italiano sofa is from Furniture Club at IMM ($2000++), an Italy brand and we simply fell in love with this color.  I can't recall the name of the color though.  This sofa also have a reclining head rest.  The downside of it is it's not very big, the most can squeeze 4 slim person, haha!

Dining Area
I absolutely love it.  The Eiffel tower wall decal is done by Pinnacle Wall Arts ($100++).  I like how it blends with the light grey painted wall, settee (with storage under the seat), marble top dining table and the black bench.
Marble Top Dining table ($1000+) and the bench ($500+) is from one of the furniture shop at International Furniture Centre.  However, IFC seems to have moved and i'm not sure where, you can try googling it.
Dining Table Centerpiece is from IKEA.

Bar Counter
The bar counter is my husband's idea.. Luckily, our living room is spacious enough to do this.  Dennis from Blisslite added blue led lights underneath the bar top, we purchased all our lightings from him.  We didn't buy through our ID because it will be much more expensive.  Wine glass holder costs only $20 from Carousell and it looks great.  The Red bookshelf, wooden plank on both sides and the photo frame is from Ikea....  (Its entirely my idea to place the bookshelf there... ) Bar stools (below $100 each) is from one of the furniture shops in IMM.

The London Telephone costs $100+ from a vintage shop located at Bugis Junction.  It's a real working telephone btw.
Carousell username is @oldandwise.  You can check out their retro and quirky items.

Bomb Shelter Door
The London Red Telephone booth decal on my bomb shelter is also done by Pinnacle Wall Arts ($100+).  We are really close to getting the real thing but we decided we don't have enough space to house it.  Actually, we don't really have a specific theme (eg. Scandinavian, Victorian, monochrome... ) its just hard to stick with one =x So we ended up with bits of this and that.  The clock ($100+) is from Taobao.

We will only be officially moving in end of this year.  I really cant wait to do so because everything is so messy in my current place.  My wardrobe is simply bursting!! (and I'm still buying. ikr) So yeah, really can't wait to finally have a place with all my things properly organized.

Hello Kitty wall decal is from Taobao.

Living Area
I love how the curtains gave the whole look a luxurious feel.... (curtains - $1000+ for living room +3 bedrooms)
Coffee table ($400+) is from one of the shops at IMM. Black Rest chair ($600+) is from one of the shops at IFC. Sorry couldn't remember the exact names of the shops... will have to refer to invoices.
Dark Feature Wall is from Luxe Decor - ($2000+)

The standing lamp beside the curtain is from IKEA, it kinda creates a nice atmosphere when it is on during evening/night.

Children's Room
I love the colour combination of green and pink for the double decker bed. But the gap is abit too wide for the safety of my children so I'm gg to look for some planks at IKEA to cover it up.  The blue and pink children wardrobe for clothes is also from IKEA.

I will posts photos of my rooms when I have time.  All in all, our renovation costs us $40,000.  This is excluding all the furnitures, kitchen appliances and all other misc stuffs.  We roughly calculated the expenses and it's around $30,000(est.) on top of our reno costs.  Our ID is Vegas Interior Design Pte Ltd.  Overall service is not bad, no doubt they are quite expensive but definitely reliable from my own experience.  Reliability is important because throughout the renovation process, you will be handing them cold hard cash/hard-earned money.  Also choose someone who's been in the trade for at least a few years (not newbies) to serve you if you are really particular.  It's better to screen your IDs background before signing any contract with them!
