As an over-protective mum, I started to worry about every single thing, i'm so worried my 6 year old couldn't queue up and use the money to buy food on his own, I'm so worried that he wouldn't be able to finish his food on time during recess time because it's only half an hour and probably 10 mins is used to queue up and buy food. I'm so worried that he wouldn't be able to find an empty sit in the crowded canteen... The list is endless...... I'm sure a lot of mums worries about the same things like me!
That's when the bento box lunch idea came up. After googling up a little, i'm so super inspired and determined to make bentos for my son! Even if it means waking up earlier than usual. I can also make use of my new Airfryer!

I love the beautiful bentos idea and i'm sure my son will find it interesting. I made this post to keep record of what I've found and also to make a list of what I might need for making bentos.
List of food/ingredients I need:-
- Seaweed
- Nutella/Peanut Butter/Strawberry Jam/Kaya
- Bread
- Cookies
- Biscuits/Crackers/Chips
- Sausages
- Cheese
- Ham
- Fruits (Banana, Apple, Berries, Strawberries)
- Nuggets
- Rice
- Noodle
- Egg
- Waffle
- Carrot
- Corn
- Cereal Crackers
- Peanuts/Cashew nuts
Packet Drinks:-

I have also started looking for cute animal/character bread cutters and rice/food moulds online to decorate the bento.
The advantage of bringing bento to school is cutting down the time of queuing and buying food!
